Relevant Representation

A number of the Fylde Parish and Town Councils, along with two other organisations, have engaged Angus Walker, who specialises in acting for clients who wish to promote or oppose applications for development consent orders (DCOs) for nationally significant infrastructure projects under the Planning Act 2008, with a leading practice in this field.

This is the FINAL draft of Angus’s work. For anyone to use to help steer, inform and bolster their registrations.

We thank the following for sending us this document to share with our users here and from our Facebook page: Newton with Clifton Parish Council, Kirkham Town Council, Freckleton Parish Council, St Annes Town Council, Westby with Plumptons Parish Council, Weeton with Preece Parish Council, Ribby with Wrea Parish Council, Newton Residents Association and Hornbies Trust.

Remember, your registration should cover the topics affecting you and your daily life. Or someone you are registering on behalf of. We know the National Inspectorate have been negligent when handling people’s calls asking for paper copies to submit their registrations, so if you know someone who wants to register but does not or cannot use the internet to do so, you can do it on their behalf. The vulnerable will be heavily affected by these plans, emergency services access, mental health, pollution, and noise, and the way the registration system works is far from being in their favour.

We are sharing this registration for you to take inspiration from, and use it to help voice something you want to say.
